We are happy to announce the launch of our new Joomla 1.5 extension Component Loader. The main objective of developing this extension was to make it easy for people to display more than one component on a joomla page.

Joomla 1.5, the multi award winning Open Source CMS has some best of the features in it. One of them is Component. A component simply allows you to extend your joomla site and add new features to it. Whether you want to add a gallery, a social networking, a blog, it becomes very easy with Joomla by just installing and publishing the required component. Joomla however, at any moment of time allows you to load and display any one component.

Going by our expierience and need, we found that some time it is necessarry to display more than one component on a single page. Like display an article, while display a product from virtuemart, or displaying a gallery while displaying an blog section. All this led us to develop the "Component Loader" module.

"Component Loader" module can load any component in any available module position in Joomla 1.5.x. This will allow you to load more than one component in a single Joomla page and have it positioned anywhere in the page using the module positions in the template currently being used by your Joomla setup. The module uses CURL to load the components, so make sure PHP on your server is configured with CURL.
